Dancing for almost thirty years (B.F.A. Dance, magna cum laude, George Mason University) and singing for a decade (Mario Spinetti/Jennifer Randall), Lucy Spring Harding has performed at Arena Stage in Disney's Newsies, the American Music Theatre in the 2024 Christmas Show, Joy To The World, Salvatore Capezio Theater with marInspired the Storytellers, Lisner Auditorium with The American Pops Orchestra, DC National Mall with the Ethno World Orchestra, Inc., and George Mason University Center for the Arts and Hylton PAC with the GMU Dance Company.  She is trained in musical theater, tap, contemporary, jazz, ballet, swing, lyrical, partnering, modern, hip hop, pointe, acrobatics, and improvisation.  

 

Lucy has choreographed The Little Mermaid for Charles J. Colgan CFPA, Bachbeat for the Ethno World Orchestra, Inc., The Nutcracker for Flint Hill School Dance Academy, and Seussical Jr. for BAM Theater.  She assisted in pre-production choreography for Grand Hotel at Signature Theatre and Evita at Olney Theatre Center.  In addition, she has created original works for GMU Dance Company, CureFest, National Cherry Blossom Festival, and various dance studios, academies, schools, dance companies, competitions, workshops, and film projects.​

When she is not on stage performing, Lucy spends her time teaching virtual dance technique lessons, guest teaching and substitute teaching at dance studios, workshops, and intensives, choreographing wedding dances for clients, providing college dance training and audition prep coaching for high school students, judging with national dance competitions, running her own arts and crafts/home decor business, Pieced Together Designs, and spending time with her husband and family.
